    How to use

    1. Drop or choose 2 to 100 images (JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, or GIF).
    2. Drag the thumbnails into the order you want them to play.
    3. Set the delay between frames in milliseconds (100 ms is the default) and how many times the GIF should loop (infinite by default).
    4. Choose how mismatched image sizes are handled: fit, fill, or stretch.
    5. Click Create GIF and download it.

    Worked example

Input: 12 PNG screenshots of different sizes, default 100 ms delay, “fit” strategy for the size mismatch. Expected output: an animated GIF that plays the 12 frames in the order you set, at 100 ms per frame, looping forever, with every frame placed on the same canvas size and nothing stretched or clipped that you didn’t ask to be. The “fit” strategy pads mismatched frames to match rather than distorting them.

Edge case: an unsupported image format (a HEIC photo straight off an iPhone, for example) is rejected by name with a suggestion to convert it to JPEG first, while the rest of your images are kept in place, not cleared.

    Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. When you pick your images, they are read and assembled into a GIF on your own device using your browser’s built-in image decoding and an open-source GIF encoder. None of them are uploaded to a server, and Inkclip never sees them. The only network activity while you work is the page itself, plus an ad request and visit statistics (the page you open and which tool you use, never your file), all described in the privacy policy.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I make a GIF from photos on my phone?

Yes. JPG, PNG, WebP, and BMP all work directly, along with the first frame of an existing GIF. Add anywhere from 2 to 100 images and set how long each one should show before the next.

    What image formats work?

JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, and the first frame of a GIF. HEIC photos straight off an iPhone are not decodable by most browsers today, so the tool asks you to convert to JPEG first rather than failing silently.

What if my images are different sizes?

Choose fit, fill, or stretch, and the tool applies that choice consistently across every frame, so nothing ends up stretched or cropped unless that’s the option you picked.

Can I reorder the images before creating the GIF?

Yes. Drag the thumbnails into the order you want; the finished GIF plays in exactly that order.

Is there a limit on how many images I can use?

Up to 100 images per GIF, each up to 20 MB, lower on a phone or tablet with limited memory, and the tool checks each image before it starts rather than failing partway through. If you need more frames than that, splitting the sequence into two GIFs is the practical workaround for now.
